Bit of an open question M8 as most people will only own one. Try a few reviews to see if you can get an idea.

As far as I know DM800 has a brilliant picture quality both in SD and HD.
Anyway Kathrein UFS 910 has the best picture quality out there.

Ipbox 9000 hd, Kathrein 910 usf hd, are almost the same in picture quality
Exellent quality in SD AND HD picture, MGcamd working good, usals ok,
will actualy give Ipbox 10 out of 10 and Kathrein 9 out of 10
my preference is Ipbox, but we all have our own mind and testing to make conclusions

Darkbox , exellent picture for so low cost receiver, brilian receiver
and very good picture both SD and HD.Support is briliant from Darkman and Diavolo
opens all channels that are hacked, has multicard reader reads all type of cards

Opti*** 7700 CICX HD , very very good picture quality,
is a bitt to slow in Unoficial support but there is all we need.

Vantage 7100 TS HD / <---- same as Hyro 9000 TS HD
very high picture quality, very good support from third part software makers
open all what is hacked, HDD support ( usb 500 gig tested) AVI files can be played
from HDD, MP3 ,has multicard reader reads all type of cards and much more.

for plug and play receiver i will say the
Vantage 7100 TS HD / <---- same as Hyro 9000 TS HD is my choise
for a bitt more complicated receiver Ipbox 9000 beats the hell out of all receivers i have tested untill now.

there are much more HD receivers out there, but this is what i have come accross so far
and tested , have not made any step by step test , but basicly all of this receivers are good for the budget and price diferences

cheers

I have only had my 1080P Samsung for about a week and my Kathrein for a day, but I watched Man U on digi Alb HD1 this afternoon and it was the best (and only lol) I have seen.

DARKMAN

for the budget Darkbox is the best and most cheap.
also has so much support from Darkman, you will not go wrong there.

if you have some more money to spend then i will go for Ipbox

this is my experiments, and preferences for now,
Low on money = Darkbox
more money = Ipbox

Dreambox , well cannot addvise on that as that box stil have not seen the daylight:D ro much talk about it but no sales :D

cheers

oh sorry then i misunderstood the question hehe.

indeed people should say the box is the cheapest of them all and not just cheap cause 251€ is not cheap at all.
its alot of money for most people.

Surely the DM receiver with its packages (needed to make it work - lol!!) cost a lot more than an investment of £200 M8? Maybe just the stb yes, but without the software where WOULD you be?:D
