Canal Digital on Thor

Would I be able to receive Canal Digital on Thor on a 1M motorised dish in SE London? If so would I be able to receive all the channels?

The answer is probably yes but you can check yourself as there are plenty of FTA channels on that package

Hi Bazza1974.

Yes you will pickup all the Frequencys listed on (Lyngsat).
That gives you all the Channels you need (124).

You will need a STB able to change (Transmission from DVB to DVB-S2) and
change (Modulation to 8PSK) to scan in the 9 HD Channels on Thor 5.
Thor 5, HD channels give me on a 80cm dish, 0.3 LNB, a Signal Quality of 94%
on the 9 HD channels.

If you go to (*********) they have 325 in all listed, 111 clear.
On my 80cm dish (55n, 1.4w) I am picking up channels in the 27800 range
at about 22% Sig quality.
The 28000 range channels have draw a blank, except 1, and that has
a Sig Quality of 100% ?.
