Sony NV-U83 any good?

had my tomotom now for around 6 years+ which cost me alot of money but the screen is starting to play up :(.i have just been down to my local halfords looking at new one and i like the Sony NV-U83 which has blutooth built in(some thing i need for work)price is 169.99 could any one recomend them?the tomtoms and others cost a bit to much.

I have the sony u53 and if the u83 works the same then I would stay clear. Not good at all.

i know these are very old post's but i didn't want to start new one but need help on this sat nav..i need to update it but can't find any free software..can anybody help on this to find the software and how to update please guy's..
