Hi forumites, can anybody assist me with my two receivers. I have downloaded all the files required (i think) for pa*#ching these two receivers but am not having any success, mainly due to instructions in Russian & German. I connect pc to stb with a rs232 null modem cable but do not get any communication between the pc and stb, with the smart receiver i get serial port check OK but data transfer failure from stb and with the strong receiver i get a time out when running the loader. Could this be a faulty cable or am i not carrying out the procedure correctly. If anyone has successfully done this on either receiver please give me some help
