Using City Navigator Europe NT 2008?

Hi all,

its the first time I have used an SD card with maps and was wondering, do I keep the v9 preloaded maps ticked on my Nuvi 610 as well as the SD maps so you use both at the same time or do I only use one or the other, was just a bit worried about conflicts with both maps having UK & Ireland on both editions, v9 and the new NT 2008

Don't know specifically about the nuvi but I have a Garmin 296 GPS for road and air use. I usually switch off the built in maps if I need to use the road maps on a map card. I did get conflicts between Garmin's very low detail 'World Maps' and the built in aviation maps. But if the two maps have the same content you probably won't notice.

Excellent, I'll give it a go and see what happens, suppose if it does mess about its only a matter off turning one off anyways.
