You will need the FreeSat HD receiver to pick up ITV-HD.

Its not entirely certain that the ITV HD channel will not be available through other hd boxes. Its only certain that it won't be on the sky epg platform for the initial period, who knows what may happen 6 months down the line. Thats what I understand anyway. I don't think you can make judgements from hd receivers not receiving the test signal at the moment. The reason I think this is because the Humax HD Foxsat freesat receiver can not receive the test signal either.
