ITV HD On A Arion 8000 HD

I have the Arion 8000HD, how did you manage that?

Someone on DS forum made the claim it works, and I have doubts it does, and I suspect he was trying to sell boxes, as the Arion is not exactly the most popular HD receiver.

It does work as I have one working, at £170 its not a bad bit of kit, and there are plenty of other HD receivers around that are as popular! Also it has done well in tests set by European magazines.

Need to create the setting of the transponer, so do a manual search 11428, 27500, H 2/3 and scan, then you need to change the VID to 3401, Audio PID to 3402, and PCR to 3401, then select MPEG4 (HD) and scan.

It will then be on the channel list but not under the name of ITV HD

Suspect not as their is no way of editing the pids.Thus so far the Passion and this one seem to have it sussed. Ironically 2 of the cheaper models on the market
