This is for the Mvision but might work for it.

This is from a other forum that I am on.

Hi

My Mvision FCIS700 has got the red light just on so I have open to see what flash chip is in and got this MXEo32572. With the information I have got on jtag it should have one of these MX29LV160, Intel TE28F160 or M29W160ET. I did a search on it on the net and come back with nothing about it or have I got the wrong one. As I am thinking of getting a jtag to fix it and for fixing the visionet just in case all so for learning. Any help on this one thanks.

The chip inside my M-Vision FCIS 7000 E+ has MXS043305 written on it, but if I remember rightly when I jtaged it a few years ago the Jtag program recongnized it as the MX29LV160. so I would guess that for jtag purposes that it just matters if you have a MX or Intel chip. I've managed to Jtag both the FCIS 7000 E+ and the FCIS 7000 Combo back to life in the past.

I picked my Jtag interface up from an E bay site in Germany. stange-distribution they have a new one on there. it has to be the powered version, mines powered by 2 AAA batteries. Cybercyclone 2005 Jtag interface 3.3v.
Watch out for the unpowered ones as I bought one first off and it didn't work.
