cam for pace ds810 hd

Hi anyone any idea about the best cam for a pace ds810 hd , tried a diablo but keeps locking , anyone tried other cams , any info would be great..

I used a Diablo with my Pace, much the same problems with Dragon/TRex I'm told. Diablo worked reasonably well for me apart from well do***ented problems, make sure you have latest software version in Pace - v1.0.35. I understand the Pace works reliably with official cams, but I'm sure that doesn't help...

I ended up with a Topfield TF7700HSCI in the end.

From what I've seen, there's not much to choose between receivers on HD channels. The Pace makes an excellent job of upscaling SD though...

Seems to work reasonably well with Diablo 2.2 but I bought a 2.3 to watch conax for the HD channels and the b*stard thing will not open anything. Anyone else had any luck at all with the 2.3 in the Pace ?

I've seen that reported elsewhere. It seems odd, as I opened the Conax channels okay on v2.2 for the short time it was working...

I never tried v2.3 in the Pace as I aquired a Topfield TF7700 in the meantime.

I reported in another thread that the 2.3 Diablo does not work in the Pace.

The Pace never really worked properly with CAM's and should be considered as only a FTA receiver.

You have given me an idea sparky, just been looking at your Topfield and wondering if she'd notice the difference if I bought one and sneakily replaced the tub of sh*t we call a Pace with the Topfield, its black after all. ( as I usually get sarcastic remarks when I bring a new receiver home )
