Surely that would be 10 degrees out at least - 16E - 0 - 1W

1w to 16e is a total of 17 degrees , so a 6 degree monoblock with 1w would give either 7w or 5e , or 10e and 16e , or 13e and 19e

that would be a good monoblock 17 deg

Hi TonyO,

You could get a (4 Way LNB Switch). 1 more LNB.
Set your monoblock at (Sirius 5e & (Thor and Intelsat @1w), your single LNB @16e.
Then if you wanted to change from (5e to 1w) you will have to go into your STB Menu
and change what ever Sat is (B) in you monoblock setup to (A).
The reason for the change (B to A) is, When you conected your (Monoblock) to the
(4 way LNB) switch, your Monoblock became a Single LNB.
The 4 way switch will only let you view the signal from the (A, LNB).
Nothing from (B).
Thats the reason for the (A to B)..(B to A).
The you still have room to add anoth LNB .

Wouldn't getting a motor be the simplest solution? Plus then you'll get all the other sats too.

Hi All,

I agee with you (haggismn) mortor the way.
There are two thing in a static dishes favor, low maintenance,
and instant switching between Sats.

@ TonyO..I said get a 4 way switch, but you just need a (2 Way Disque switch).
One big problem with my way is, because of the poor (Sig Quality) on @16e that
would have to be your prime Satellite.
With your Monoblock offset to (THor).

there are plenty of dishes out there, I found some today but forgot to wash them, just washed the glasses but I guess you could make one from beer cans, yeah the :cheers2:fosters dish, I wonder how many cans you would need for an 80 cm

I would have two seperate dishes, you need at least an 80cm for 16e and you need at least an 80cm for 1 west as some of the channels are weak. You would still use a switch, two or four way.

I wouldn't put two lnbs on one dish as you would have to put it on 16e and offset the 1w lnb, yeah it would work, but you would need a big dish to be good

I Wouldn't hacksaw a mono block into two.

a motor, this would be good if you wanted to explore the other sats, but if you know what you want you can't beat a fixed dish, they seem to last.

all the best, need some more beer now.

cheers

Hi TonyO,

Its not just (Beer) that dehydrates you. its (Coffee) too.
drink a cup of coffee and ten minutes later you will pass (****) 50% more flued
then you took in.
Its as bad as (Beer).
Dehydration KILLs.

(drinking) too much beer cause (you) to go slightly mad and start putting (words) randomly in (parentheses).
