I hope some one here can point me in the right direction to fix this problem. I have just bought a TM6900HD Combo (upgraded from the TM1500CI). With great expectation I eagerly downloaded the channels from both of the Astras.
Both the BBCHD and the ITVHD (1510 name or something like that) have appeared in the Radio Listings instead of the TV ones, so when I go to "view" the channel of course I get the radio backround logo. On a positive note, Premiere HD is fine, totally impressed with the picture.
I am wondering if the firmware is need to be upgraded to fix this? If so, is there an idiot proof guide to do so via USB?
Perhaps relevant info:
S/W version: 6.11
H/W version: 1.00
Boot version: 1.00
CH version: F007
Can someone please advise me on what I can do to fix this? Thank you in advance

I have had no pronlems with BBCHD. However, put the latest firmware onto your memory stick. Then click on menu and go to USB. Transfer files and transfer the file. It is as they say idiot proof................ hopefully! Rescan the frequencies and they should be in TV channels.

Thank you for the quick reply. Uploaded the latest firmware, process was sooo easy. Unfortunately it still gave me the same result, bbchd still in the radio list sheeesh. As i say, no problem with PremiereHD and ORF1HD so don't know why this is happening to little old me.
I am wondering if transferrring Compass's stb file of 13.05.08 will be the only way around the problem. Will do that in the morning.
Thanks again, I really appreciated your time taken to answer my post :)

If you back up your channel list then you could upload my channel list as this contains most channels you will need. Dont think I put the latest ORF and Eurosport HD channels but this will at least give you the channels you want. The other channels can of course be added. Just out of interest did you scan BBC Channel with settings DVB-S (QPSK) - 22000 5/6 (I think Pilot off)?

Sorry for the delay in replying, had gone to bed.
I have uploaded compass's file and that is working fine with the softcam, still don't see the BBCHD in the list as i think it is still my own list that is there. I don't know how to upload a new channel list only. I did not scan with the parameters you mentioned QPSK. I tried that just now, nothing, but the channel is not broadcasting till later, so maybe that is why. I work in the evenings and might be able to scan the channel in before it shuts down for the evening.
Thank you again :)

Thank you stevenalis for all your help, managed to solve it at last. It all boiled down to a matter of name I guess. I rescanned the frequency when i came home, and whilst in the radio section there was a channel called BBCHD, there was also a channel called 6945 in the tv list, tuned in to 6945 and it was actually BBCHD, phew. Sorry to have wasted your time.
btw, it came in with the default settings, I couldn't get anything when i tried the QPSK one. Thanks again * smiles

Glad you are sorted. The QPSK was a red herring because it wasn't DVB-S2. Doooh.
