Entering new keys on 6900HD

I have just looked through the old postings but cannot find one advising how to insert new keys (e.g.TV Globo) into the Techno 6900HD - can anyone help please?:respect-046:

click ok on "Menu" go down to "System Information" and click ok on that. Click ok on "Cas Menue". Select which Ident you want to up-date. That should be it!!! You can always "Save your Keys on the desk top first so if you mess up, you can reinsert the original keys.

Well I get the 'gist' of what you are saying M8 - but for TV Globo what EXACTLY step by step?
I've printed off the full page of Globo keys - which set within that page do I actually use for these N2 keys please?

All I know is where on the TM6900HD the keys are put. I have in the past updated for example the keys for "Digital+ (4001). I'm afraid I don't know where the TV Globo keys go. I must admit that it is some time since I have had to do it. I rely on updateing with the use of the latest "Softcam". and send it to the receiver via an RS232 connection.
I don't know if this helps. Perhaps some one else will advise you better....sorry m8

Never mind M8 - thanx for helping - one of lifes mysteries this keys entering thing - not sure if these latest TV Globo keys are on latest softcam - will have a look later - not really THAT bothered bout TC Globo, its just the challenge of getting keys on myself!! lol!!!:rolleyes:

Still pondering how to enter keys into 6900HD - e.g. latest *** on Diamond keys - presumably via the 'BISS' option within the 'System' menu?:respect-067:

Try this:

You have to be on channel you wish to update the keys for, e.g. *** on Diamond - enter 8280 with your remote, go into BISS menu, and enter only the 32 keys then press exit, exit and save yes, then exit..

You could also try the latest *** View Keys.

Hi Aldo - dead chuffed, got SV keys in - but two lines 24/7 & Special the keys kept changing after saving. them, e.g 24/7, loads of 00 keys in 2nd half, put em in correctly but after saving it kept inserting '87' on one of em!:respect-050:

I'm pleased that you now got the hang of inputting the BISS/DCW Keys, and that you have managed to get some of the channels to clear, unfortunately I can't comment on the channels that you are not clearing, as at the moment I do not have my Techno receiver hooked up, maybe someone else who has tried these keys can give you further info.

Well its weird that the keys went in correctly and were ok as saved - but one key on each line changed itself so didnt open 24/7 or Special!
In Dragon key updates you were always advised to update while on an FTA channel to prevent this happening, but you have to keep these on actual channel, so cant be that?
See they down again now anyway!:confused:

I don´t have this receiver but one thing came to my narrow mind.
If emu is trying to autoupdate keys this kind of thing will happen.
So You can try to switch emu off.

This happens sometimes in my technomate 1500 your not doing anything wrong.

And as you say in the keys section, many of the *** View channels not opening with latest batch of keys either! HQ & Plus ok but others not working?:respect-057:
