I have been running my Echolink 888 with Hotbird and Astra happily for 6 months. Recently a load of channels on Hotbird are showing blank screens, including several French Channels TF1, France 2 , France 3 etc .
When I select the channel, the programme detail is displayed as normal then it goes completely blank. I dont get the message 'encrypted' .
Any ideas what has caused this. Do you think the firmware has got corrupted. I am still picking up most Hotbird channels OK so the dish must still be in alignment.
The firmware I am using dates back to january 2008
