hi just bought my 6900 and having a problem with no sound on most hd channels with new patch i've read a few post on subject and switch to pcm,but to no availe i have it working now with using a patch from april only problem now is can only get itv as a radio station any way around this.

If you use the latest patch dated 13th May you can set the audio to PCM and it works perfectly. I take it you are using HDMI?

didn't work for me and i am using hdmi with audio is set to pcm

tried again this morning still no joy i was wondering if it's because i used a null modem cable will go out and buy usb stick today to try, it's strange how version 29/04 works but 13/05 doesn't

just tried patch 13/5 using my mp3 (didn't realise i could use that) and even used offical software off techno site but still no use, i have to stick with29/05 and do with out itv for now, i run out off ideas

But have you tried stick yet M8, cos thats what I use via USB - and 6900HD running fine, ITV HD and all! Dont forget ITV not testing HD 24/7!:respect-067:

yes used stick but no joy, the problem i given up on problem, i don't get any sound (apart from bbc hd) when using 13/5 on any hd channels, but get all sound on all hd channels when using 28/4 patch but off course with that itv hd shows as radio channel, i think that was only fixed in 13/5 patch.

i've finally got it working , i've download a channel list and every thing ok

guess what worked out what the problem was, when i read to changed sound to pcm, i was changing my tv to pcm and not the reciever to pcm as i didn't realise, what a numpty i am
