how do i transfer my channel list to usb for editing?

how do i transfer my channel list to my usb stick for so i can then transfer that list to my pc for editing?

i know it can be done , cause i did it by accident and now i cant do it again.

i didnt want to do that in case it reloaded the channel list i had added before i scanned in some more channels, from different satellites.
