HDCI-2000 HDMI Sound Problem

I have a HDMI soundproblem with my Humax HDCI-2000 connected to my AV Amp (Onkyo TX-SR606) in that it goes on and off all the time. If I connect straight to the screen (Sony) all is good .... I seem to remember several other people having this issue. Is there a fix for this?

It was a problem with one of the early firmwares on the hdci2000. But has been sorted with the last few up dates last year. I'm on update 15 and I had a similar problem connecting through a hdmi switch (sound dropping every few minutes). I changed the hdmi cable and the problem went. Also the HDCI200 seems to have HDCP handshake problems when being connected through a middle device (that's my experience). When I use the switch. I have to have the hdci2000 on then switch the tv on, to get a good connection (hdcp wise). This solved my problem. Don't know if it'll help you though.

Latest HDCI-2000 Firmware "15" solved my problem.

Try the latest update of Version:16 for the 2000HD which you can do OTA from Astra 1 (19.E) it seems to cure the stuttering sound problem plus a few other things! TB
