TomTom GO300 with which version maps and App?

I have a TomTom GO300 using version App 7.162 / 7.05 maps.

What maps App version will works with this unit I have a 2GB?

Can anyone help with information and instructions. card?

Thanks for the reply I was thinking no one was going to bother. Same here but I was hoping you could use the V8 maps with Navcore V8, I have read it may be possible but I am not sure if it is an easy job or if I will gain anything by updating to V8 as I have Mapshare working?

you can use version 8 no problem using it on my go 700 working fine and also mapshare also version 8 maps

It's easy enough to put V8 on, but I'm not 100% sure if it will work 100% on the 300. I've put v8 on my 500 - not had chance to fully test it yet, but the map works fine & now managed to get TTS working on it. See posts 5 & 13 here :-

Is there an instructions on how to get TTS working. I have 710 with Navcore8 and v8 maps (you assisted me in getting them on).

Copy this folder onto your Tomtom first - overwrite any existing files / folders, then add one of the voice files :-

UK English Kate voice

Put the folder named Kate or Simon into the folder named ' EnglishGb ' - this is inside the folder named ' LoquendoTTS '.

When you go to change voices in your menu select no when asked if you want voices in the same language (English UK) ?

Make a back up of your existing LoquendoTTS files first.

Think it could be a different loquendo software (or crack) for the *10 units - have a look at the software in this thread - you might be able to do something with it -

Hi Russel,

I have a problem with my one euro, i tried to update it and the thing switches on but doesn't clear from the orange opening page then comes up with a red cross........ What have i done............. Yes i have tried to reset it several times but still the same. I have also tried plugging it in to my computer but just says please connect device.

Can you help me.
