Noticing though, that the number of files are getting smaller each time - at one time there was 66, then 62, then 60 and now only 58.... Does this mean that the missing files in this batch don't need updating (so the old ones are still OK) or should they be removed (serving no real purpose)?

These files can be used on all versions / types of Tomtom. Put the .OV2 & .BMP files into the map folder.

You can use both the UK & Euro files.
