My shiny new 6900 arrives this week, and I am planning to setup my system using my existing 36v H2H motorised 1m dish for 19.2e to 30.0w and a separate sky dish for 28.2e.

Consequently I have ordered a V-Box and a Diseqc switch, and will mount the switch on the outlet (lnb side) of the V-Box.

The question is, how to setup the 6900 to handle this arrangement. Using the Clark Tech editor, is it simply a case of assigning the 28.2 satellite to one Diseqc 1.0 switch setting, and the rest to another?

Anyone used this type of config?

And does anyone have a download of the 6900 manual?

To answer my own question, it is simply a case of assigning the 28.2 satellite to one Diseqc 1.0 switch setting, and the rest to another... A piece of cake, works a treat.

Got my new 6900 yesterday, it's the dogs wotsits :king-041:

Hi M8

If you still require the User Manual, if you go to the DM's Forum, in the Receiver Manuals section, you will find the TM6800/TM6900 Combo Manual.

Hi M8

You may require this info some time in the future, "How to format a Hard Disc", you can find the info here:

http://www.technomate.com/support.php

It's the one at the bottom.

The instructions are wonderfully obtuse... For disks larger than 30GB, the last 2 instructions are:

18. When this has finished, connect your USB drive to the Technomate TM-6900 HD COMBO or the TM-6800 HD and go to Menu > USB > Management > Format Disk and press OK
19. Do not use the Management menu found in the USB Menu of the receiver

LOL !

I guess the "DO NOT FORMAT THE HDD IN THE TM-6900 HD COMBO OR THE TM-6800 HD" in big red letters takes precedence...
