Hello everyone,
Does anyone know if the DB800 supports the G*m*a card and what image would be needed to make it work, I'm still learning about the Dreambox before getting one :)
OK, thanks again,
harshy

Thank you A that's great news, is CCam a plugin that works with an image, or does it come with the image itself?
ccam is the emu u need. It comes as an addon with an image like gemini. So on your box put the gemini image 3.60 (an example there are more images to choose from ) and then download from gemini server via remote. You would need your box to be connected to the internet. Read up on the basics of the dreambox for starters. It only looks complicated but its not :bigear: AND theres enough help here

Chip goes down.
With this card its not just a question of putting it in and watching, it requires work doing in the cfg file.
You have do some editing, I have not done it but I know it needs doing.
Hopefully someone who has done will post you the info.

G* card in smartcard slot, cccam 2.09, insert these lines in .cfg file:
CAMKEY: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
CAMDATA: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/sci0

Hello there,
I'm on my hols this week, so I went downstairs and put my DM800 to work on S** Digital on 28.2E with a valid s** card, however the card reader says its an unknown card:001_07:
I can only see black screens downstairs, please help, I'm using Gemini 3.60, CCam 2.09 and NewCS 1.60.
OK, thanks,
harshy
