possible fault with 800hd?

since having my box almost 2 weeks now it has locked up about 3 times when i have not been using it,do you think its down to the img files or possible fault with these recievers?

I would not worry, as a DM user for many years this is just a bug until things settle.
When I had a DM7000 wen it first came out I was ready to give up!!!

Lock ups are normal with Linux receivers.

TM9100 was the worst for this until recently.

Give it a year and the DM800 will improve.

It's the price you pay for an open O/S receiver.

Paul is the 800 located in a cabinet ?

If the box gets to hot it will lock.

I've had mine a month now and not had a single freeze,lock or anything else.
Mine is in the bedroom on top of a bedside unit with plenty of room to get air and breath.

I do know when I got my PS3 I banged it in my downstairs cabinet and started playing and within 15mins it shut itself down, turns out it was getting to hot.

If anything is HD then it gets very hot.

it is in a unit on it own with clear back and front so there should be plenty of air around it
