problem with navcore 8 on 910 go

hi,i have decieded to install navcore 8 on my tomtom 910.everything has gone on fine.i just opened the downloaded navcore folder and copied the contents and overwrote in my tomtom.i then installed the 2gig europe 800 maps.again everything works fine after activation. the problem i have is the voices. i know the voice activated doesnt work on the 910,but i have a problem with the normal voices that speak the directions. at first,u go into the menu and select voice,this works at this point,as soon as i navigate,the voice becomes slow/slurred. not sure if something is wrong or i have done something wrong. if i reset the tomtom,everything works again until i navigate. thanks

seems i need the navcore 8 for tomtom 910,i have the wrong one. also need the slowdown voice file.the links i have are dead,any help on this please

Don't know if this will fix it for you, but you could try getting the latest voice files from Tomtom.

I had the same problem. I have a tom tom 510.
After installing navcore 8. I cured it by replacing the system file in the tom tom route directory
It depends if you are running navcore 8.010 or 8.011 as there are 2 diiferent system files available from these links
