hi all can some on tell me if there is horse racing above the normal arc, the reason I ask a guy I know 3 doors away got this fancy system put in there is 2 motors driving the dish, he can not operate it so he asked if I would have a look at it , I have set many motors up but never with this fancy set up can some one shine some light on this please ps he has 2 technomates driving the dish 5400 and 9100. much advise would be helpful

can only think of an inclined orbit satellite this would require two motors these satellites are at the later stages of their operational lifespan the fuel is low so they are placed in inclined orbit they drift in and out of the standard position to track these sats two motors used but there are more expencive one motor solutions

so there would be no benefit to the average man having such a system, i may try and set it up as the normal arc cheers for your help m8

so there would be no benefit to the average man having such a system, i may try and set it up as the normal arc cheers for your help m8it will allready be setup for normal use the second motor is only used when viewing the inclined orbit sats have a look at lyngst for inclined orbit sats so track to say 1w and then use second motor to aquire best signal it should then track as normal just using ew tracking
