Half a postcode?

I have a GO 720 with no probs but my m8 at work has half the postcode missing when he inputs a postcode. ie CH7 *** just the first three digits. Any ideas please?

probably not got the postcode files - connect to a PC & check the contents of the folder named ' zip '. If nothing in there you'll find the latest files in this section somewhere - v701 .
