problem starting hummie

I have a problem starting my hummie, i press the start button and
it tries to come on for about 15 seconds or so and then nothing,
the monitor says no signal.
Is there problems brewing??

Looks like your PSU is having an problem,
Switched mode power supplies develop those problems over time when capacitors go faulty due to heat.

Get an refurbished PSU or have yours made.

You can try a firmware repatch with a new channel list or even try original firmware. I've noticed that every time some problem occurs, everyone seems to propose as a first solution a new psu. Although this time it could be the case, you can always try these simple steps. Stating which model you have also helps, I suppose you are talking about the 5400. It happened to me some time ago and luckily it wasn't a psu problem, i think it was an overheating problem.
