what version were you going from as i'm on 11.i can find download but when it starts i get error (e14) ota not found.

i'll maybe try loading 15 first then 16.

went from 15 to 16 loaded my own list for version 11 ch4 hd audio only,tried laurals list also for version 15 still only audio no pic on ch4 hd.

havn't looked for anything else yet

whats the improvements has always been the big question

What a load of S.H.I.T.E!!!!
After upgrade this stupid receiver can not do an automatic search!!! It gets stock after a few minutes....nothing happens..you have to switch it off at the back.....then of course all is lost and you are back to square 1!!

i'm leaving it on mine just now to see over the next 2 weeks whats better if anything.going to get new hd receiver had mine for 2 years now.

Ok after more messing I decided to scan only 1 transponder and save it. It worked. What happened is that I scanned 3 sats BEFORE the OTA. Then after the OTA I was back to original set up...Language, sat set up and so on....BUT in fact the channel lists was still in place!! And this why it was freezing after a while....too many channels.
Anyway can not see anything defferent yet.

Must be something different somewhere, otherwise why release it? You normally have to do a factory reset to activate new firmware.

Well I updated with no problem from v11 to v16.
Cant see anything significantly different, except perhaps a faster boot.
