my 6900 is dead also

i have tried the new boot version loads 100% reads and programs with laptop, then it freezes the machine up and dose nothing the front pannel says technomate that's it ! please help i was only loading new software on to it via usb

replaced the boot software with the patch software, it has loaded on machine is working now but i will do more tests factory reset loaded the new software from technomate crashed again im now puting the patch back on to see if it will load

I've had that a few times on my 6900HD - but if I power off at mains to reboot it always comes back up back to normal!:respect-050:

I had a similar prob yesterday with the 4/6/08 'Boot Load' firmware and it went black I tried 2 do it again but then I also put on the new software after the boot load software.

So 1st I loaded bootload software, then 2nd I loaded the latest software which was # .....51.stb

Everything worked perfectly.

after loading boot version and then v 6.51, it still would not reboot switched it off at rear for 5 mins nothing just hung up doing nothing loaded the patch, it's up and running fine hope this helps if some one has the same problem
