V4000 Series Sony LCD's hit UK stores
Continuing their prodigious turnover of new LCD TV's, Sony's mid range V4000 series panels are starting to appear in UK stores.
Reflecting the realisation by Sony (along with most LCD TV manufacturers) that style has become a hugely important factor in the buying process, the V4000 maintains subtle new design features introduced with the W4000 line.
As a well specified, keenly priced mid range offering, the 'V' series is once again set to become one of Sony's best selling lines of LCD TV's. With 40in, 46in and 52in panels the V4000 series features a claimed 33,000:1 contrast ratio, a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolutions along with the latest incarnation of Sony's picture processing engine 'Bravia Engine 2'.
Lacking only the USB picture frame functionality, WCG-CCFL backlight, 10bit video processing and xv colour found on the W4000 series, the V4000 panels appear to offer a tempting package for consumers.
