View Full Version : Jtag For Rellok/IPbox 400s
Hi
Does anyone knows where to buy Jtag cable to flash a dead Relook/IPbox 400s receiver , i can't not make one myself as i am not good with soldering iron .

Why do you need a jtag its verry unusual that you do.Most often a reflash of a clean image is all thats needed.
The screen showing 00000000000000 only and won't accept anything else , tried to get to USB mood many times but wasn't successful and i already checked around and found that the flash chip need Jtag.
I did ask to borrow a cable at denktenk for 3 days now without a reply .
I also discovered that the TM9100 Jtag cable is the same one for Relook 400s and luckily i just found and ordered one from fleeb*y today. let us see what will happen.

any 1 know if this will work with a 250s ?
I am trying to flash my Relook 400s using Jtag cable but i keep getting the following error:
Relook 400s <PAL> board initialize
Flash info. : Unknown Unknown
Flash recognize failed. Retry(0x0, 0x0)
I have tried all versions of the Jtag software

tried all the Parallel port settings in the Bios , still the same problem and the Relook screen still showing ************
Jtag Cable length is about 12cm
Windows XP with SP3 . logged in as an Administrator - HP laptop.
Please Help
i just oredered one to do my digiquest but the j tag program will onlt run on windows 98 just thought id let you no incase its the same s/w

Try on a different pc, i was trying for weeks to jtag a receiver and geting nowhere, first go with a different pc and bingo.
i will try another laptop today , i will keep you posted

Thank you for help , at the end i got the box exchanged for a new one at the shop.
