Freesat Software Downloading now!

As I type the Freesat download is taking place. Here's hoping it allows us to open up to all FTA channels.

Just loaded 35 non-Freesat channels using a loop-through from my Technomate 1500. The menu is basic and a little laborious but it is working.

Tried the Première German bouquet but only got the Film Portal so far. Haven't worked out the glitch yet as the signal is at 90 percent. Now to find the HD channels.

This is for Alba branded boxes, such as Goodmans, Bush, Grundig... etc.

Just to confirm Yoda. mine is a Grundig.

The software update is only for Freesat boxes as already outlined, the Foxsat and the Alba brands Grundig Bush Goodmans etc.

For example onb DigitAlb I can only add FTA channels to the Grundig at present as the Grundig is seeing the signal from my Technomate as Encrypted even though I have a valid DigitAlb subscription.

Trying to work out how to solve that one. The other conundrum is that I can't see the DigitAlb HD channels because my Technomate is not a HD box.

I love this hobby. It keeps my brain at least in first gear.

cant see how you can get pay channels on a free view box with or with out a card . still keep trying . be good for all if you get it to work
