Has anyone heard of an lnb rain shield?
I read on another site of a fella who made a rain shield out of an aerosol spraycan plastic top,cut it to suit an fitted it round the end of the lnb.
He said it improves the lnb's performance in storm/rainy conditions by obviously keeping the rain off the lnb.
Anyone have any thoughts/ideas about this?will it work?I have no problems on my motorised 1metre dish, but on my small S*Y dish it loses the signal in a heavy rain storm.

As Cor mentioned, there is a branded product but the middle section from a plastic 2 litre cola bottle works well so long as it is secured well.

Leave it open on the underside or it will fill up with snow.

Well in Europe anything can happen in July :)
