depends on the HW and how u plan to clear channels. Plenty of packages, swiss should be the easiest, otherwise u might want to have ur stb connected to the internet

thanx i am realy sory i am new 2 all this stuff could you please explain what the HW is and what it does? and also what stb means. i have recently purchased technomate reciever with build in via access and conax cams. any advice would be kindly apprechiate kind regards.

HW = hardware? and STB = Set Top Box. Next question is, which Technomate.

Since the TPS and SSR/SRG packages went down, there isn't anything worth bothering with in Viaccess. With your patched Technomate you should be clearing, Premiere 19east, Digi TV on 0.8 west, and Arqiva 4.8 east. A few channels which you never hear about are FTA on 12.5west 11185v 13.657, they are Sony TV and Nat Geo UK HD. But when you scan for Sony TV it comes up with a different name.
