I have recently upgraded my laptop to a dual core running vista, the problem I have got is there is no serial port on this laptop so I have bought a usb to serial converter. The port seems to be fine, the problem is when I go into Humbox and try to upload a new channel list to my humax. I get a connection then it gets to about 8% and says error dc. I think this maybe something to do with the usb to serial port but I dont know what, I have tried changingthe baud rate to match the humbox but am getting no where fast. Makes me want my old laptop back (it was slow but it worked). Any help appreciated.
