I'm foxed! How do I add a sat position to Clarke Tech 2100plus usb that is not in the list? Namely 9E.

Hi, you can do it in one of two ways.
Menu, dish setting, then select a satellite you don't use and rename it & change it's position to 9 east.
The second way, load up your channel to a USB memory stick.
Then open the list in you computer with NDFeditor and rename an unused sat there.
Then click on 'satellite' in the editor and then click on 'sort by degree' so that it goes between 7 east & 10 east.
Load it back into your receiver & away you go.
If you want to add all the transponders for 9 east the easy way do it like this.
Open your channel list in NDF Editor.
Right click on 9 east.
Click on update from Lyngsat
Go to Lyngsat:-
_http://www.lyngsat.com/eb9.html
Copy just the last bit into the window:- eb9.html
Now click update and the transponders in the Lyngsat list will be added to 9 east.
Now just load the list back into the receiver and all the 9 east transponders will be in your receiver

Ahhh! Thanks very much. Sorted. I hadn't seen the 'rename' button! That NDF editor is totally new to me so I'll give that a go ...many thanks.
