navigo to tomtom

anyone converted one of the above? Got a navigo which is running on topdog 5 but want to add speed camera data, do i have to convert it to a tomtom first (v6.201) if so, any ideas?

I bought the 4.3" Navigo and with the help of various forums I got Tomtom 6 ,TurboDog [$hite] ,Igo & Miomap working on mine ..........all on the same 2GB SD card and there still working although I still prefer TT , Miomap is excellent .Getting them all working involved what was called hacking the registry .........not really hacking .......you just have to change 5 registry keys by linking the Navigo to your PC using activsync and a CE registry tweaker . By doing so you lose the Navigo frontend but it will boot up into Windows CE and you create shortcuts from your SD card to the desktop of the Navigo to get the satnav programs working . It will no doubt invalidate your warranty too , but I thought it was worth it.

thanks, ive bought a dvd of a guy for a fiver with all the files on to copy onto another sd card, only because i didnt have a good version of tomtom, thanks for your reply if i get stuck ill post again!
