Does Showtime & Art Clear on 7 West with DB800 with emu, through the varrious softcam files around.

Must be the same as with a 500. Some cams work, but most don't.

You should be able get it with vplug though.

As far as I remember with the correct keys Showtime & Art should work with mgcamd 1.25

Edit : Not using a dreambox but it does work although both art and showtime use 0604 and
wouldn't clear for me with both art and showtime keys in the softcam

Regarding vPlug.

I saw a post elsewhere where someone got vPlug to communicate with a DM500. It might also work with DM800.

vPlug is normally used with a DVB card and runs on your PC, SBCL also runs on your PC
and allows vplug to communicate with your dreambox emu using the newcamd protocol
so vplug can decrypt the channel

I said any cam that supports newcamd can be used, CCcam, MGcamd, Evocamd

I use vplug with my PC already, but was not sure about vplug on DB800 where would i find SBCL, i want to run vplug for showtime is there any other cam that will work with showtime that rums with db800

I don't own a dm800 but as far as I'm aware all the main softcams are working in which
case as I said in post 4 mgcamd 1.25 works

Assuming your using the correct key did you remove the art keys from the softcam as I said above ?

Also do you know if you have a strong enough signal ?

Yes I removed the ART keys, and still no good :(

My signal is showing as 11% (which on a dm800 isn't as bad as it sounds).

I get the same level of signal on city7 and showtoday (both clear) and I get no picture breakups.

Start mgcamd 1.25 from telnet then your see if you have the correct keys or not, Disney
channel is probably the strongest/stable encrypted channel to clear

1.25 will work when you have the correct keys so your just have to wait for them to appear :king-042:

Any idea's where I can get keys that still work then ?

Last 3 or 4 day's I have updated them, as soon as I have found them (that days keys) and it hasn't decrypted at all.

I don't think the new keys are out yet :respect-051:

If they don't work then check with telnet just to make sure its the keys that are the reason,
afraid people don't always check they work before they post them
