I have just taken down my sat dish. Before I did, I unplugged the stb (Technomate 1500 CI+) from the mains. When I came to undo the lnb cable from the lnb, I got an electric shock. Enough to make me let go quickly. Is this right?
even tho you unplugged it the reservoir cap inside the psu could still be charged so that could have been all it was.... i would be tempted to check the box out with a multi meter tho just to be on the safe side...
i do remember my humax 5400 used to have 110v ac between the chassis and ground.. enough to give you a nasty tingle

I play around with my LNB's a bit and my 1500 does the same, though I do it with the box on anyway.
