Small flames from STB

Just upgraded friends box successfully and went to plug mine back in. Powered on from rear switch and 2 small flames erupted through grill. Have taken PSU out and can just see small discolouration of resistor on edge next to the two small capacitors. No burnt board and nothing like the pictures shown in the tutorials available. Do not want to bother changing out individual components as this was a pain 3 years ago when I went for the uprated versions. There is a guy on e-bay selling reconditioned boards for about £19 + pp. Anyone had any dealings or have anyother contacts?

Thanks borg there were a few other posts prior to the forum coming down and everyone being set back to zero but I see what you mean. I would rather it had been technical but after having a box since 2001 and the Hot patches being what they are I have never had a problem. Anyway PSU supposed to arrive today and we will see what other damage I might have incurred.
