Help With Sly Card in Dm 800

hi there can any one help me get sky uk card working in dm 800 Thanks ANDY (LINKSATS)

Install NewCS 1.60b for Sky card to work.

CCCam doesn't currently work with Sky Cards on the DM800.

InstallED NewCS 1.60b STILL DOES NOT WORK WHEN I INSTALLED IT CAME WITH CCAM-2.0.9 FROM THE BLUE BUTTON

Replace your current cccam.cfg and newcs.xml files with the ones in this zip and report back.

Copy cccam.cfg over to etc using dreambox control centre. Then also send over the newcs.xml file to etc/tuxbox/config using dcc.

Then reboot and insert card. The picture should clear fine.

I've tested this on lt images and nablio v3.

First connect an ethernet lead from your router to your DM800

FTP the files to your box.

You can download a Free FTP client from

_http://downloads.sourceforge.net/filezilla/FileZilla_3.1.0.1_win32.zip

or use DCC (Dreambox Control Center) download from link below

To login you need to enter the following details into your FTP client.

Host: Enter your DM800 IP Number, example will be something like 192.168.1.3
Username: root
Password: dreambox

Once you've FTP'ed the files your done.

Disconnect power to DM800 and reconnect power to reboot.

I have nabilo v.07 installed with newcs 1.65 and cccam 2.05 ftp over with DCC ,

But I cannot get it to work ,

Hi sonic

I transfered all the files this evening using DCC but still no luck,I have set all attributes to 755

After i ftp'd the files I pressed the blue button and picked cccam 2.09 newcs1.65 then rebooted box but all I can get is a blank screen,

I cant understand what i am doing wrong ,

you need CCcam 2.0.5 not 2.0.9 all the files you need are here.

futhermore if you install BH v0.9 the files are downloadble from the addons.

But still no picture, I have gone over it a couple of times to make sure I did it right and everthing seems to be o.k,
I have changed all attributes for files to 755 (but I dont no if this is right)

I would install the new nabilo but I when I put in a new image i loose all my settings on the dm800 , I no there is away around this but I have only had the box a couple of weeks and there is quite abit to learn.

Download the Dreambox Tools then use Dreambox Edit to do a backup.
