Perhaps telling us the dish size, lnb type and your location might give us a better chance of helping you.;)

I'm in S.Wales using a Triax 1.1m dish and a MTI 0.2 lnb, no problems getting digitv here.

You're further West than me so, with your setup you shouldn't have any problem at all.
Have a look at the footprint.

Sounds like its a dish alignment problem m8, time to get a meter out and check it i think.
