C band LNB Settings

This post may be better in here than in the Dreambox 7020 section where I posted earlier.

I have a Pauxis 17 K Voltage switching LNB either model P****0 or PX-990A (doesn't say on the box has both)

I was wondering what LO frequency setting is need for this LNB. I have a Dreambox 500.

I set the H and L frequency to 5150 and the threshold to 11700.

Tried tuning to BADR at 26 east as I only have H/V there.

How do I get circular polarization. I need some sort of plate I read on here somewhere.

yes a little strip it slots into the feedhorn on the lnb..............to capture the circular polarisation.............its simple and effective..............but it blocks a small amount of signal
