Philips anb broken pixel's

I bought myself a Philips 47PFL9732D/10 *** month ago. It is a lcd tv.
Now I a straight line from top to bottom that always have green light. That means thoose pixel is alive but broken. So philips will fix it for me.

But can this damage been maid be my dreambox7020si or my pc?

Can my computer transmit bad data through dvi/hdmi cable, so that this is bad for the tv.

My graficcard card can only handle 720p. When I have tried 1080i or 1080p, dont know what is was, then the computer is very slow.

Can I have damage my tv mysef?

it sounds like an address line problem this could be the screen itself which would need replacing (they may replace the whole tv depending on price) you need to contact your dealer regarding, warranty or options. its very unlikely any connected products will suffer any ill effects. (other than you having to put up with the green line :( )

I first contact the shop, the said philips doesn't have any pixel warranty, nothing they couldn't do.
Then I called philips, it was no problem, the warranty will take it.
