no sky sports uk picture

can anybody help i am currently running likra channel list of 01.07.08 but after loading it up i am not getting tje picture to clear but i do get the audio, skysports ie is ok.

when i first set up the box and used one of the channel lists from the gemini menu i was getting the both sky sports channels to open. so dont know what has happened since.

I have this but I find that I have channels SP1, SP2 and SP3 which all show pictures as well as sound. It was the same with my Dreambox 7000 too.
I am in Spain so it could be a location/frequency issue.

yeah not too uch of a problem because i can get the irish ones but i was picking them up before i loaded up this channel list, and i am only in the norht west of england and signal is excellent.

Are you using a Sky card or ???

Sky cards are tied to regions so the channel list has to have the transponders and set of PIDs that match the card.

Auto-downloading is a quick and dirty way to get a DB running but you lose track of what is actually happening. eg five is on CCW but many key updates have the wrong CCW. So to get, say, Polsat, you lose five - now what a sacrifice that is :)

AFAIR there are at least two versions of each S Sports and maybe 3 on 28E but you channel d/l may not have them all.

i am using ?????, is anybody getting sly sports1 uk channel, as i say i get the irish one but not the uk, i will give up if it the same for everyone.

I have put up with the Irish one for about 2 years and never found a solution.

dont know what has happened but i have just went onto the sly sports 1 uk channel and it is now showing a picture, i now have pictures on both the sly sports 1 channels anybody else getting this who was not before.

sly was just open for that period, I even picked it up on old sammy. The encryption must of been down for a while.
