Situation is:
Vista (32) Media centre.
Graphics NVidia 8400GT
2GB Ram
Athlon 6400+ with all the stuff
mkv / mp4 convertion crap using winavi mp4 converter.
Have a film in mkv format, downloaded off the net.
Use the Winavi mp4 converter to do the job so I can use vista media centre.
Try the convertion for 3 mins & then abort......... This leaves a file.
The resulting file will play no problem with vista MCE.
Why is it when I let the convertion run to its completion that vista MCE cannot play the file because it is inconpatable with MCE ? ? ? ?
Is there an ending process to Winavi mp4 that FOOOOOks thing up that I should know about ? ? ?
Your help here folks would be welcome.
