I have a Freecom Mobile Drive Classic 320 GB. Just plugged it in and it worked first time and still does. No problems whatsoever. It is also self powered vis the USB cable unlike some others which need a separate power supply.

You have to format it using FAT32 and ensure you set it to support larger dics.

You need to do this on a PC. Don't use the format option on the Technomate, that formats it for sizes less than 32gig. If you go to the Technomate website, under support they provide instructions how to format it.

I've got Vista which doesn't format in FAT32 anymore. So, I used a tool made by HP called USB FAT32 Format Tool (http://www.thecaretakers.net/HPUSBformattool.exe) v2.8.1. Made the job really easy. I've uploaded it to my webspace for you.:respect-055:
