I've been looking for a suitable (2 tuners, stream, working dvb-subtitling etc) dvb-s2 stb for a year now, but until now everything has been more or less c*ap, if you ask me. Because it seems that Dreambox 8000 is still far away I started considering Vantage.
However, one feature that I specifically want is the ability to stream the livetv to lan, so that I can watch tv with for example vlc (Win/Lin). Of course this pretty much also includes the ability to share the recordings with samba. Is this possible with HD8000?
