HD200 software updating

Can de software/firmware from the HD200(C) updated with an usb stick or must it be thru a null cable modem?

you can do ota update its on hotbird i think this is what you use 12476 freq horizontal polar sym rate 27500 fec 3/4 you must be on hot bird 13e if this does not work look on the net for 1.0016 the ota worked for me

not sure about usb dont think thay have them but if ota dont work yes null lead

allowed software/firmware transfer using a FAT32 formatted USB stick......since that post I have also edited the sat/channels list, ie: a '.udb' file, then transferred the amended one back to the receiver, again via USB.

Shall only use the null as a last option.

Both the software/firmware and channel files are to be found here in this section.
