I think that's the whole idea of it m8 so you can watch and record at the same time.
If or when the 8000 arrives it is supposed to have 2 tuners.

Actually it is supposed to have 2 integrated DVB-S2 tuners and 2 slots for 2 additional tuners (DVB-S, DVB-T and/or DVB-C) making it 4 sources...
