The three satellites you have mentioned are all powerful satellites which can be picked up with a 45cm dish, 16E requires a larger dish, depending on your location.
Check out lyngsat, Eutelsat W2 and click on the beam link corresponding to the transponder you are after, this will give you a map with the general dish size required across Europe.
You might need to re-align your dish to get anything from 16E as it might not be tracking the arc correctly, and a 70cm dish might not be sufficient, again depending upon your general location.

Thanks for that Mickha, I forgot to mention that I am in the Midlands England.
according to the lingsat site a 60 cm dish should be okay
I just cannot get a reading for 16e, its like as if its not there
I am beginning to wonder if its the lnb
cheers

That's just a general guide, you would be better off taking advice from someone near to you to see what size dish they require, are you after DigitAlb?

I think you def need a bigger dish mate. Recommended 1m. You can get away with a smaller dish the further south you go. Try lock onto a l s a + channel thats the strongest in the uk I believe.

wonder if you are trying to lock onto it using a pre set frequency on your receiver. its possible that those numbers are not in use anymore. try lyngsat to line it up with a frequency that is in use.

There is very little in English on that bird unless you have an official sub for Digitalb/ITV Partner/Pink TV/Total TV, or have a Diablo 2.3 CAM with latest UW file or M2 Plus card (which clear Digitalb)
As for the signal, I guess a 70cm would clear if you were absolutely spot on, but I think 80cm+ would be better for the Midlands. I get a pretty good signal on my 80cm in SE England, but I did have to spend time tweaking it to get that. The birds you mentioned were extremely strong, without a twitch on 16E, until I tweaked the dish.

Thanks for your help everyone here at satpimps. I accept now that the dish is too small and I think the signal is being clipped by the house next door,so if there is not much in English on 16 east, I will stop looking for it, who needs it when 13 east and 19.2 are so good.

If you have a clear line of sight try 1 West, especially for Saturday 3 PM football, but there are also a lot of channels showing American series on Digi TV.

hi all, watched the match last night on 16east with 1metre dish & diablo 2.3 & techno5000, awful pixelation & break up throughout the first half luckily changed to zdf for 2nd half, cannot understand i live close by and have same set up with no problems, wonder if they were ecm,s? or does the cam need something turning off, did nudge the dish to the best signal strength/quality earlier in the day 50/55 ish, i do understand 16e can be a little unpredictable on some tp,s.:frown:

try 11283h 27500 as there are 3 stronger channels fta on that transponder
vizion + , drama comedy and thriller action
also alsa t rtv on 10957h 2821
also 11513v 29950 for a few more
as mentioned , you wont get much english on foreign channels without subscriptions and cards , apart from well known hacks and packages like polsat + premiere + digi tv , and of course 28e

English Audio is available, and was available on last nights England game, at least for the first half, sometimes they lose the commentator and you just get the crowd background noise, as happened at the beginning of the second half.
With a 1 Metre dish you should get a good signal strength, on DigitAlb, and no pixellation problems, depending on your location and quality of your dish.
I suggest you move the dish, using your receiver, to get the strongest signal and then adjust the elevation slightly, to peak the signal, providing you have easy access.
What make of dish are you using and what LNB?
