Sony Bravia Labels!

I have a Sony Bravia 40" KDL 40V4000 HD. Anyone know how to label the HDMI and AVI listing to denote their receiver. Can I, for example, label my HDMI 1 connection which is a Technomate 6900 as TM Combo or similar? The same goes for my other connections. Can I label the AV1 as SLY+ etc. etc.

I used to be able to do this on my old Sony Trinitron

av lable is possible on the 32 bravia with no problem the 40 should be the same

Also possible on the Sony KDL-40D3000. No problem !

If you can tell me, where do I start in the Menu sequence? On the set I have I can go to Settings and change the channel name and skip etc. Where do I find the HDMI and AVI settings to change their labels.

To rename your AVI or HDMI labels on the Sony Bravia 40" KDL 401V4000 go to Menu.

Go to Settings

Go to Set-Up

Go to AV Setup - Go Right on AV Preset.

Select the AV you wish to name or rename. Use the remote to go right.

Move down to Edit:

Click the Set button and you will be given 5 dotted lines on which to seklect your chosen name.

To exit and save click RETURN .. Return etc until you are out of the menu Programme.

Your AV number will show your label to the right.
